Organizational Structure

The IUDN structure integrates governing, supervisory, and support bodies, as well as academic units and departments that ensure the fulfillment of the institutional mission.
Governance and Supervisory Bodies
● General Council: the highest decision-making and supervisory body, responsible for approving plans, budgets, and regulations, and for evaluating the Institute's operation.

● Director: leads and coordinates the IUDN's activities and represents the institution.

● Vice-Director: supports the Director in internal management and coordination.

● Teaching Council: monitors and evaluates teaching, training, and curriculum activities.

Teaching and Training Units
● Faculty of Military Sciences.

● Faculty of Social, Political, Security, and Development Sciences.

● Joint Military Academy.

● Polytechnic Higher Education Unit.

Support and Oversight
● Single Tax Authority: ensures verification of legality and financial and patrimonial regularity.

● Legal Advisory: provides legal advice and technical support in the
preparation of diplomas and regulations.

Internal Structures and Support Services
● Departments and Sections: organize the areas of teaching, research, and management,
ensuring specialization and effectiveness.

● Director's Support Office (GAD): supports the director in coordination and daily operations.

● Specialized Secretariats and Offices: ensure administrative tasks and support for academic and research activities, including the Planning and Cooperation Office and the School Affairs Secretariat.

In general, IUDN presents a functional and articulated organization that combines strategic direction, academic capacity, and support services, ensuring coherence and efficiency in achieving its mission.
